What happened to The JET Auto Glass Owner?

Owner and technician Jacob Stein was walking in his Temecula neighborhood when he was unexpectedly attacked by an unleashed dog. In the assault, Jacob suffered repeated bites which resulted in multiple stitches all over his body. The most severe bite resulted in the loss of part of his right thumb, leaving him with no possibility of working during recovery.

In the same incident, his beloved great Pyrenees, Captain (a gentle, epilepsy-suffering dog who is a part of the Stein family) was also bitten on his back paw (dew claw), and after returning home suffered a seizure which resulted in him biting his tongue. The vet bills for Jacob and Captain are growing for the family-owned business, and they are reaching out to their beloved community asking for help.
