Audie Murphy Ranch Sports Park is located at 30376 Lone Pine Drive, in Menifee, California. One of 22 beautiful parks owned by the City of Menifee that we hope to visit and review this Summer.
This peaceful park has been one of my favorites since the day I moved to Menifee back in 2020. It includes so many things for residents to do and various ways to get exercise outdoors in the sunshine.
What to do at Audie Murphy Sports Park in Menifee?
Play Some Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, or Skateboarding
The wide-open park boasts some of the most fantastic sports fields and courts available in the City of Menifee. A large baseball field with shaded bleachers, a full-size basketball court, well well-maintained soccer field, and for a fee, you can use the gated skate park too.
This park is always active with kids practicing their favorite recreational sport and families walking their dogs for exercise. There are other parks in Menifee with these amenities, but for some reason, this one has always felt so fun and exciting for my family.
Throw a Party or Host an Event
This park has three covered structures with over twenty picnic tables available. Making it the perfect place to have your next family reunion, birthday party, or marketing event. Reserving the park shelter is simple, and we have more details on that at the bottom of this article.
The restrooms at this park are always kept clean, and available within walking distance of all the amenities available. These restrooms are large with multiple stalls, and there are water fountains available throughout the park as well.
Let The Kids Burn Off Energy on The Two Play Structures & Swings
Audie Murphy Sports Park is also the perfect place to teach your kids how to ride a bike, play hide-and-seek, learn about nature, or simply let them be kids on the playgrounds. Many parents love to sit and socialize while their kids play games and run around the large shaded playground area.
Paved Bike and Walking Paths Connect to Newport Road
The walking trails at this park are not just used by kids and dogs; many cyclists love to visit this route for its beautiful greenery and proximity to Salt Creek Bike Trails. I can’t think of a single time I’ve visited this park and there wasn’t a person or group of people biking along the sidewalks and trails.
Audie Murphy Skate Park
For the kids who love to show off their skate and scooter skills, this park is the perfect place for them to make new friends. For a small fee, you can use the gated skate park, which has many different kinds of ramps, rails, and bowls built to for kids or adults to practice and exercise.
