When I first met Andrea Beck, I immediately noticed her drive to connect with the local community. During an open conversation with her, I learned all about her background and her motivation to help others. This is the story of how she transitioned careers to become the go-to resource for financial literacy in the Menifee area and beyond.
Meet Andrea Beck
Andrea got her start in life as a young athlete. She spent her early years enjoying competitive swimming and water polo in Long Beach, California. She built a strong community there, but she and her husband soon realized they wanted more space. They decided to move their family to the Menifee/Winchester area so their two young sons could have a larger home to grow into. Andrea and her husband have been together for over eighteen years, and they are fully invested in making our community their lifelong home.
Moving to a new community has its challenges, but Andrea faced them head-on. She quickly became a very active participant in local events. Today, she is a proud Ambassador and Partner for the Beauty Boost Temecula Valley and a dedicated member of the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce. She also volunteers at her children’s school and helps out anytime they need a few extra hands.
From Dental Hygienist to Financial Professional
Andrea worked in the dental field for fifteen years before she decided to pivot careers. Her path changed completely when she and her husband met with a financial advisor. During that appointment, they learned valuable strategies for making their money work harder for their family.
Andrea realized just how important financial literacy is for the average person. She saw a gap in what people knew about their own finances and decided to take action. She went through the long process to get licensed and become an advisor herself. Her goal was to bring this critical information to other families who might be missing out on opportunities to secure their futures and legacies.
Where Andrea’s Passion Lies
After hearing Andrea share her story, I can confidently say that she has a strong passion for educating and helping her clients. She does not just want people to set goals. She wants to guide them each step of the way and celebrate with them as they reach those milestones.
Andrea loves to educate her clients on three main topics. She teaches them how to grow their money, how to manage risk, and how to avoid overpaying on their taxes. She also offers guidance on paying off debt, Retirement Preparation, Life Insurance Protection, Tax-Advantaged Strategies, College Funding Concepts, long-term strategies, and Final Expense Preparation.
To further share her knowledge with the community, Andrea hosts her own no-cost financial workshop on the last Thursday of each month at Daily Nutrition in Temecula, at 6:00 PM. It is a great way for residents to stay informed and ask questions in a welcoming environment.
